Asiwaju Osibo
ChairmanAsiwaju Osibo is the current Chairman of the Board of Capitaltrust Investments & Asset Management Limited.
A seasoned industrialist, he has over four decades’ experience in manufacturing, publishing, retailing, tourism, hospitality management, estate management, property development and plantation agriculture.
Asiwaju Osibo is an industrial consultant specialising in production management and control and is currently chairman of Promaconas International Limited. He is the Chairman of the Biscuit Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and had served on the National Council of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and as Treasurer of MAN’s Ogun State Council. Asiwaju Osibo has extensive management and leadership experience. He was former Technical Director of Lipton of Nigeria Limited, General Manager of Inlaks Group Plc, Managing Director, Adeola Odutola Industries, Managing Director, CSS Bookshops Limited and Bookshops House Limited.
Asiwaju Osibo is a distinguished fellow of the Institute of Directors Nigeria and honorary life vice president of the Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Ibadan.
Engr. Ibikunle Ogunbayo
Non-Executive DirectorAn accomplished engineer, Engr. Ogunbayo has over four decades’ experience in engineering and corporate administration.
He is the founder and Chairman of KOA Consultants Limited, an engineering consultancy firm responsible for major landmark developments in Nigeria and Ghana, including the new domestic terminal at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Tinapa Business Resort, Calabar, National Stadium, Abuja (except for the main bowl), United Nations Office, Abuja and Maersk House, Tema Ghana.
Prior to establishing KOA Consultants Limited, he was Partner at Oscar Faber Nigeria, a firm of consulting engineers responsible for the delivery of such landmark projects as the First Bank Head Office, NECOM House, NAL House amongst others. He began his career at the East Central State Broadcasting Service from where he moved to Western Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (WNBS-WNTV) and subsequently, the Nigerian Television Authority.
He is a past President – Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, Past President of the Association of Consulting Engineers Nigeria and past Chairman of the Nigeria Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Lagos.
Alhaji Shuaibu Idris
Non-Executive DirectorAlhaji Idris has over 30 years experience in investment banking, treasury, and financial advisory services. He is the founder and Managing Director of Time-line Consult, a financial advisory and business consulting firm. He was Deputy Managing Director at Dangote Flour Mills Plc and prior to that, had worked at Liberty Bank Plc, Chase Merchant Bank Nigeria and Kaduna State Board of Internal Revenue.
In the course of his career, he has attended several workshops and seminars including the Advance Management Programme of the Harvard Business School as well as courses from the Lagos Business School and Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge. He has attended the U.K. International Conference on Islamic Economics, Banking & Finance, and several annual conferences organized by the Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics, London.
Alhaji Idris is a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria, Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Chartered Institute of Management (UK), Cost Management Institute of Nigeria and the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria. He holds a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of Wales and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bayero University, Kano.
Mr. Ekpe Ukpabio
Non-Executive DirectorMr. Ekpe Ukpabio is a Chartered Insurer and a member of the Society of Fellows of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK and Nigeria. He has over three-decades experience in the Industry.
Mr Ukpabio has served in many top roles in the industry. He was the Former Executive Director of FBN Insurance Limited, Former MD/CEO of Equity Indemnity Insurance Co. Limited, Former MD/CEO of Oceanic Life Assurance limited. (Now Old MutualLife Assurance Limited) a subsidiary of Oceanic Bank Group (Now Ecobank Group), and also a member of the Board of Directors of Oceanic Insurance Co.Limited (Now OldMutual General) and Oceanic Health. Former MD/CEO of AnchorInsurance.
He is a recipient of the TimeNews Development in Nigeria Gold Award in 2010.
Mr. Seyi Oke
Managing Director/CEOSeyi has over two decades’ experience in corporate finance, asset management, infrastructure & project finance, private equity, financial and investment advisory, venture capital, Finance & Internal Control, equipment lease financing, general management and leadership.
As CEO, Seyi provides strategic leadership for Capitaltrust. He led the team that launched the Africa Infra Plus Fund, the first private sector driven infrastructure fund to unlock Naira denominated equity capital from pension fund administrators in Nigeria. He has also successfully set up Nigeria’s premier Naira denominated Healthcare focused private equity fund to unlock investments from institutional investors into Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
Prior to founding Capitaltrust, Seyi was Group Head, Treasury & Investments at Citicorp Financial Services Limited and before Citicorp, he was with the Stock Broking Unit of Capital Bancorp Limited. He began his career with Zawadi Investments Limited.
Seyi is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atoll Energy Group Africa, non–executive director of Karrabo Financial Services Limited, an eCommerce platform provider for promoting financial inclusion in remote parts of Nigeria and partner on the Banking Sector settlement framework. Seyi is the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Good News Vendors, a non-governmental organization caring for troubled youths and orphaned children. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Oyo Ile Economic Development Forum, a private sector initiative committed to promoting and harnessing the economic potentials of Oyo State.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria and the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria. Seyi has attended various specialist finance, investment management and leadership courses including the Senior Management Programme of the London Business School. Seyi holds a masters’ degree in Financial Services Management from the University of Salford Business School and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences.
